About us

Upstate Medical Exchange is locally owned and operated. We're not a national call center or a ship-your-box website — when you text us, you're talking to a person here in the Upstate, and when we meet, it's in a parking lot you already know.

We exist because millions of dollars of sealed, perfectly good diabetic supplies go to waste every year. Insurance ships more than people use. Devices get switched. Cabinets get cleaned out. Those boxes usually end up in the trash — while plenty of people paying out of pocket can't afford the same supplies at retail.

Our job is the local step in fixing that: we pay our neighbors cash for supplies they'll never use, then route those supplies to companies that redistribute them affordably. You get paid, nothing gets wasted, and someone down the line gets supplies they can actually afford.

We keep it simple and honest. Straight offers, no pressure, no games. We only buy sealed, unexpired, retail-labeled boxes, and we never touch Medicare or Medicaid items — that protects you as much as it protects us.
